As we spend our Sunday trying to wash the bitter taste of yet another blown two goal lead out of our mouths, writing strongly worded letters demanding a full refund on our obviously defective Tim Thomas voodoo doll and openly questioning The Bryan's thought process behind burning a year off of Erik He-Better-Be-The-Fucking-Great Karlsson's entry level contract for no readily apparent reason, I'd like to pause so that I may bring you this totally superfluous moment of self-promotional tripe.

The good folks at NHL Arena, possibly the single most literate message board on these here interwebs have launched The Sens Blog-Off, in which you, gentle reader are tasked with the weighty task of deciding which seven of their most excellent assemblage of fourteen Sens specific blogs move on to the second round.  The roster is rather impressive.  The competition will be fierce.

Your humble scribe currently sits with one vote (thanks Mom!).

And so, a plea: Sure, they post more often, with more intelligence, grace and solid hockey analysis than I do. I also imagine they're better looking (and in the case of Sherry, Erin and DHS, I guarantee it). But only I can bring you the irrational anger borne of frustrated ambition and lost glory!

So I ask both of you, loyal readers (Hi Mom!), which would you rather have? Information? Discussion? Actual knowledge? I submit to you, that way lies madness! Vote for me! Vote for me, and show them that snark, silliness and vituperative rage have a place on these here series of tubes! Show them that "better" is not always...er...better! Do it for you!  Do it for your children!  Do it for my crippling need for validation!  Just do it.
